WDHB has partnered with André Chieng, President of Asiatique Européenne de Commerce since 1988, to offer Learning Expeditions in China. AEC (formerly Bambrilla) has offices in Paris, Pekin, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Hong-Kong and Taipei. Founded nearly fifty years ago, it has helped numerous French enterprises, many of them major corporations, to set up operations in China.

André Chieng has extensive operational experience launching successful operations for Western companies in China. A French citizen of Chinese descent, he is also a keen connoisseur of Chinese culture and practices, which he explains with riveting alacrity. He holds diplomas from some of France's most prestigious schools (Polytechnique, ENSAE, Sciences-Po). As Vice President of the France-China Commission, he has become renowned for his high-level colloquia between the two countries and the China trips he has organized for many high-profile French public figures. His on-the-ground knowledge enables him secure meetings not only with public leaders, but also with companies, for an inside view beyond standard protocol. His network covers not only the coastal cities but the interior provinces. André Chieng is also co-author of "les nouvelles routes de la soie".
