Global Learning Expeditions(sm) focus on:

  • Experience: learning by observing concrete realities and meeting with a variety of people
  • Active discovery and emergence : learning on one's own and through group dynamics
  • Cultural differences: learning and being enriched through contact with different cultures
  • Action: learning by working on real-life, strategic projects for the company and identifying potential applications of new concepts through practical work sessions facilitated by experts.

Draw on the cultural and functional diversity of the team and culture shock experienced during visits to different countries to effect change.



Each Learning Expedition combines several training methods:

Learning Expeditions in China and in Europe are crafted and facilitated by WDHB partners and co-facilitated by the WDHB Consulting Group team according to original, proven methods that have been refined by the firm since 1988.

WDHB ensures the continuity and coherence of Learning Expeditions organized in various countries. A WDHB facilitator accompanies the group and tracks its evolution throughout the entire Global Learning Expedition(sm) (global approach). Local facilitators handle only the Learning Expedition in their country, thus contributing true local expertise (local approach).
