Strategic Learning
We bring the human side to business. Whether you are immersed in strategic development, innovation and leadership, learning and development or defining sustainable business strategies, we create engaging experiences that bring the focus back on people as the source of inspiration.
By nature of its design, WDHB’s learning approach combines classic consulting, individual coaching and collective reflection. In the explorative process of an expedition, participants are both drivers of their emergent learning and champions of its resulting transformation.
We strongly believe creativity comes through empowered collaboration, hands-on experience and the empathic learning from human stories and interactions.
In the services we provide, WDHB believes in helping you see the world with innovative lenses and experiences. Shifting you out of the boardroom, office and classroom, we help you gain fresh perspectives by creating the formats and contexts for the emergence of new ideas. We are here to help you create sustainable strategies that push the boundaries of what is possible by reinventing yourself and your organization into leaders of innovation and change.
WDHB’s programs go beyond the traditional dimensions of cognitive and analytical learning and develop participants’ intellect, emotional capacities and intuition as integrated entities. Through emergence-focused learning, expeditions apply a large variety of different creativity methodologies allowing participants to learn by doing.
During the Expedition, daily debrief sessions provide participants with ample time and protected space to reflect, discuss, debate and process their experiences, then cull and cultivate the learnings they find most relevant and applicable to their current business needs. Debriefing sessions also serve as a stepping-stone into the day by opening up new ways of thinking and trigger new personal and collective considerations to tackle that day in combination with mind-opening provocations and surprising insights.
As a facilitated workshop, the final synthesis pulls together the threads of thoughts and actions conceived and conducted over the week. Participants frame these insights into a vision and collection of perspectives and ideas that are tied back to the organizational and personal development goals. They get a chance to collaboratively brainstorm, refine concrete proposals for future strategic direction and build an internal network. With shared mindset and jointly developed action plans, participants can immediately act upon returning to their organization. With shared mindset and jointly developed action plans, participants can immediately act upon returning to their organization.
«Some of the options that were available to us were weeks at traditional business schools but the downside of that is that it’s much more individually focused, it’s not focused on us as a company. We didn’t want each individual to improve and go through their own development process. We wanted them to do the process together and go through the experience collectively.»
